Privacy Policy
Cellufun respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, how we share it, and the choices you have when using Cellufun, including when you sign in with Google.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect the following types of information:
Account information
When you create or access a Cellufun account, we may collect information such as your username, display name, email address, login method, account identifiers, and profile information you choose to provide.
Google Sign-In information
If you choose to sign in with Google, Cellufun may receive basic Google account information authorized by you, such as your Google account ID, name, email address, and profile picture. We use this information only to authenticate you, create or connect your Cellufun account, prevent duplicate accounts, provide account support, and maintain account security.
Cellufun requests only the Google permissions needed for the app to function. Google recommends choosing the most narrowly focused scopes possible and avoiding scopes the app does not require.
Gameplay and service information
We may collect information related to your use of Cellufun, including game activity, scores, achievements, virtual items, friends or social features, messages or content you submit, device type, browser type, IP address, log data, session data, and crash or diagnostic information.
Payment and transaction information
If Cellufun offers purchases, subscriptions, virtual goods, or paid features, payment processing may be handled by third-party payment providers. We may receive limited transaction information such as purchase status, product purchased, transaction ID, and fraud-prevention information. We do not store full credit card numbers unless expressly stated by the payment provider and permitted by law.
Cookies and similar technologies
We may use cookies, local storage, device identifiers, analytics tools, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, understand usage, improve Cellufun, prevent fraud, and measure performance.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- operate, maintain, and improve Cellufun;
- create, authenticate, and manage user accounts;
- enable Google Sign-In and other login methods;
- save game progress, scores, virtual items, and preferences;
- provide customer support;
- detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, cheating, security incidents, or technical issues;
- communicate with you about your account, service updates, security notices, and support requests;
- analyze usage and improve performance, features, and user experience;
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
3. How We Use Google User Data
Cellufun's use of information received from Google APIs is limited to providing and improving user-facing features that are visible in Cellufun.
When you use Google Sign-In, we use Google user data only to:
- verify your identity;
- create or connect your Cellufun account;
- display your account identity where appropriate, such as your name or profile image;
- help secure your account;
- provide support related to account access.
We do not sell Google user data. We do not use Google user data for advertising targeting. We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve Cellufun, comply with law, protect security, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.
If Cellufun accesses Google user data through Google API Services, our use and transfer of that data will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements where applicable. Google states that apps using Google API Services must comply with that policy whether or not they have completed verification.
4. How We Share Information
We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
Service providers
We may share information with vendors and service providers who help us operate Cellufun, such as hosting providers, analytics providers, security services, customer support tools, payment processors, email providers, and infrastructure providers. These providers are authorized to use information only as needed to provide services to us.
Other users
If Cellufun includes public profiles, leaderboards, chat, forums, multiplayer features, friend features, or user-generated content, some information you choose to share may be visible to other users.
Legal and safety reasons
We may disclose information if we believe it is necessary to comply with law, legal process, or governmental requests; enforce our terms; protect the rights, property, or safety of Cellufun, users, or others; or detect and prevent fraud, abuse, cheating, or security threats.
Business transfers
If Cellufun or its assets are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy or a policy with materially similar protections.
5. Data Storage and Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect user information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Cellufun, maintain your account, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent fraud or abuse, and maintain security.
6. Your Choices and Controls
You may have the ability to access, update, or delete certain account information through Cellufun account settings or by contacting us at support@cellufun.com.
You may disconnect Cellufun from your Google Account through your Google Account permissions page. Google's OAuth consent flow displays the app name, privacy policy, requested scopes, and approval/cancel options before access is granted.
You may also request deletion of your Cellufun account or personal information by contacting us at support@cellufun.com. We may retain limited information when required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or legitimate business purposes.
7. Children's Privacy
Cellufun is not intended for children under 13, or under the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, unless we provide a child-directed version with appropriate parental consent and protections. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without legally required consent. If you believe a child has provided us personal information without appropriate consent, contact us at support@cellufun.com and we will take appropriate steps.
8. International Users
Cellufun may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. These countries may have privacy laws different from those in your location.
9. Third-Party Services
Cellufun may contain links to third-party websites, services, app stores, payment providers, advertising networks, analytics providers, or social platforms. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this Privacy Policy.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and may provide additional notice where appropriate. Your continued use of Cellufun after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means you accept the updated policy.
